Supported Structures.
VEIS Enterprise Edition provides support for Web Catalog Management by
keeping the web server data in sync with the corporate database product
inventories. It also provides Dynamic Web Pages where a change in the
corporate database can trigger automatic information transfer (see demo)
by dynamically creating HTML web pages or updating a client Java display
widget. Simple queries are also supported, a feature which gives
browser-based customers the ability to query corporate data (within
security constraints) to find the status of their order, check backlogs,
etc. Textual and graphical information can also be displayed. Therefore,
reports created with VEIS Enterprise Edition can retain all their normal
appeal when displayed on the Web.
