VEIS Enterprise Edition contains a complete and comprehensive suite of
query and reporting applications that support any number of accessible
data sources in a single report or even a complex (spanning multiple databases)
report format. Provided with the product are over 30 examples of reports
which show how to access multiple databases, team repositories, and various
file systems. Data access is supported in business terms instead of complex
schemas, a feature which makes the reports more understandable and easier
to create. Developers, managers and end users can use a WYSIWYG toolset
to rapidly analyze information and produce high quality Postscript or
laser reports. A component architecture and a shared repository promote
the reuse of reporting components. The Query By Example, Free Form and
Schema browsers can all be used for easy data retrieval.
