Direct Database Access.
For enterprise level transactional data access and analysis reporting,
VEIS Enterprise Edition supports direct access (inquiry and update) to
over 40 databases, including ODBC, Q+E, Sybase, Informix, Oracle, DB2,
Gupta, IMS VSAM, flat files, Xbase, SQL Server, Gemstone (and other OODBMS)
databases. RBE and QBE tools are used (point and click) to define views
and layouts on the data with the same interface accessing data from many
different types of DBMS, OS, hardware and network environments.
