OVERVIEW
Full life cycle incident management
IASM is the first security management application developed jointly with the U.S. Navy based
on hardened Linux platform and open standards. This full featured application suite has
undergone extensive security reviews including the rigid DoD Information Technology Security
Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) activity. IASM is focused on the full life
cycle of incident handling. This includes the following basic steps:
- Gathering alert logs,
- Correlating alerts with the IASM knowledge base,
- Assigning and prioritizing incidents,
- Responding to threats,
- Tracking outcomes and
- Measuring performance and making adjustments.
