John
E.D. Greenwood has over 50 years experience as a lawyer and investment banker for
marquee firms such as Milbank, Tweed, Hope & Hadley, Chadbourne,
Hunt, Jaeckel & Brown, Creole Petroleum Corp., Bacon Stevenson
& Co., Inc., E.F. Hutton &
Co., Inc., Eastman Dillon Union Securities, and Blyth Eastman
Dillon & Co. Since
1978, Mr. Greenwood has been a private investor, Chairman of
Greenwood CorpFin, and financial advisor to DNS Technology and
Synergistic Software (now Promia), and Portal Automation Tool
Company, among others.
Mr. Greenwood's accomplishments include U.S. representative (finance)
as a Director of the American Nuclear Energy Council to the
International Atomic Energy Agency for the World Conferences in
Copenhagen and Paris (1975), Stockholm (1976) and Salzberg (1977),
and a charter member of Global Communications Society.
He was with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 through 1945
with Communications Intelligence, a member of the American Nuclear
Energy Council (Board of Directors 1976 - 1978), the Atomic
Industrial Forum, and the Global Telecom Society.
Mr. Greenwood has been a member of the Republican Boosters
Club, the Warwick Historical Society, the Links Club of NY, Tuxedo
Club of Tuxedo Park, NY, Capitol Hill Club of Washington, and the
Bond Club of NY. He
has been a patron of Winslow Therapeutic Riding, Inc., and past
Trustee and Treasurer of Tuxedo Park School.
Mr. Greenwood is an Honors graduate of McGill University where he
received his Bachelors in Economics (1948), his Juris Doctorate
from Yale Law School (1951), and is a member of the New York Bar
Association. Mr.
Greenwood's leisure activities have included opera, shooting,
riding, polo, skiing, and golf.
